Hello, I’m Lamiese.
I created Her Closing Edit for women who are curious about high-ticket sales and want an honest place to start.
Where I started
I spent ten years as an officer in the Metropolitan Police. A lot of people are surprised by how much of that job is about conversation: listening carefully, asking the right question at the right moment and staying calm when someone is under pressure. My specialist interviewing training taught me how much you can learn when you stop talking and genuinely pay attention.
Building a business
After the police I found my way into business, and I’ve now spent more than fifteen years in the hair and beauty industry. I founded and scaled a six-figure hair extension brand, which meant negotiating with suppliers, closing high-value deals and learning, sometimes the hard way, what makes people say yes and what makes them walk away.
I’ve also sold membership products and supported sales teams, helping other people feel more confident having conversations about money and value.
Why closing, and why now
When I discovered remote high-ticket closing, it made sense of so much of what I already did. So I took it seriously: I completed structured high-ticket sales training and one-to-one coaching, and I’ve recently stepped into the remote closing industry myself.
I want to be clear about that. I’m not here claiming years as a remote closer or promising you a particular income. I’m bringing established business and communication experience to a new chapter, and sharing what I learn along the way.
What you’ll find here
Her Closing Edit is for complete beginners. You’ll find plain-English explanations, honest information about how the pay really works and practical resources to help you prepare. The style of selling I believe in is relationship-led and consultative: understanding people, telling the truth and helping them make a decision that’s right for them.
This isn’t a recruitment agency and I can’t guarantee anyone a role. What I can do is help you understand the industry clearly enough to make your own good decisions.
If you’d like to start at the beginning, this reading path is a good place, or you can get in touch.
